Transition into the New Year at Agape’s Meditation Retreat

Agape International Spiritual Center and Reverend Michael Bernard Beckwith will be holding its 21st annual New Year’s Silent Meditation Retreat. This year’s retreat will be held from Saturday afternoon, December 29 until Tuesday afternoon, January 1 at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center. 

The retreat is comprised of spiritual practices of blessing and releasing the past, visioning, intuiting, and attendees setting their aspirations for 2013 and embodying them through silent meditation, affirmative prayer, dialogue, chanting and sacred ceremony. Beckwith acts as the retreat’s facilitator, and musical inspiration is provided by Rickie Byars Beckwith.

Check-in begins on Saturday, December 29 at 11 a.m. and the retreat begins that afternoon at 4 p.m. The retreat concludes on Tuesday, January 1 at 2 p.m. Overnight occupancy includes catered meals, room accommodation, workshop, yoga, and sacred ceremony. Commuter rate includes catered meals, workshop, yoga, and sacred ceremony.
