Sustainable Works Offers Three Workshops in February

Sustainable Works, a non-profit environmental education organization and a project of Community Partners, has announced three upcoming environmental workshops in Santa Monica. According to Gina Garcia, Residential Greening Program Director, “The objective of the workshops is to aid residents in becoming more aware of the issues and to instruct how to use fewer resources. The first half of each 90 minute session is focused on the issues and the second half is dedicated to solutions.” The date and subject of each workshop are as follows:

  • Tuesday, February 5 – Chemicals
  • Tuesday, February 12 – Transportation
  • Tuesday, February 19 – Shopping/Food

These workshops are free to the public and will be held in the Santa Monica Public Library’s Community Room. The sessions will run from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Interested parties are asked to reserve their space at SustainableWorks.org.
