LYFE Kitchen, co-founded by former McDonalds COO Mike Roberts, opened its second corporate store in downtown Culver City. At the grand opening, Roberts, president and CEO, announced aggressive Southern California growth plans. In addition to this location and its flagship Palo Alto store, they will be opening restaurants this year in Tarzana and West Hollywood, with several additional locations in the pipeline. The Tarzana and West Hollywood stores will be certified Platinum under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Rating System.

LYFE, which stands for “Love Your Food Everyday,” has plans for 250 stores in the next five years. The first franchise agreement will be with Carey Cooper, who will expand the concept in Chicago. The brand is actively seeking additional corporate locations in Northern California and outstanding locations and talented franchisees nationwide, with a focus on Denver, New York City, Austin, Boston and Washington D.C.

LYFE Kitchen combines natural ingredients with sustainable practices and flavor profiles enhanced with spices and herbs to fuel and satisfy. All dishes are preservative and additive free and contain less than 600 calories and less than 1,000 mg of sodium. Their goal is to deliver delicious food that is convenient, affordable and healthy.

The Culver City store is located at 9540 W. Washington Blvd. For more information, visit  LYFEKitchen.com or Facebook.com/LYFEKitchen.
