Bastyr University recently received regional accreditation by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) for its new California campus in San Diego. The NWCCU is an institutional accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
The documentary film The Highest Pass, winner of the Spotlight Award at Topanga a n d t h e Audience Award at San Diego Film Festival, premieres at Santa Monica’s Laemmle Theater on Friday, April 27. During the opening weekend, it is estimated that there will be five showings daily. Show times have not yet been announced. In addition, following each of the main evening showings, filmmakers Adam Schomer and Jon Fitzgerald, Sattva guru Anand Mehrotra, and others will be leading a Q & A session.
